(x,y) coordinates are different every time you read it using Mesh Inspector

I am using the Mesh Inspector in the "Slice Elevation" to read the (x,y) coordinate of some nodes, and found that every time you get a slightly different number. Why is that?

The coordinates in the coordinate box do refer to the mouse coursers position, not to the cell that is currently inspected, therefore it will in most cases not be the exact (x,y)-value of the node. Zoom in to increase accuracy.
