Hello,

I am trying to make a vertical 2-D unsaturated model based on seasonal recharge data. When I looked up where to input my data for storativity into the FeFlow model, it said that the input parameter, was Drain/Fillable porosity. But, I cannot find this as a parameter option in the 2-D model options. Has it been renamed to something else?

Thanks

An unsaturated model does not have a Drain/Fillable porosity (or storativity). Storage in the pore space is handled by using the "Unsaturated-flow porosity".

Hi Peter,

Does your post means that when working with unsaturated models, the "storativity (drain/fillable)" parameter on the saturated properties menu, is not considered at all by the program?

I ask because it is activated and is possible to set it anyway.

You are right, in FEFLOW 5.x and in FEFLOW 6.0 Classic the button is active. Nevertheless the parameter is not used.
