Salinity with a time series

I'm modelling a very simple two layer coastal barrier system, with fresh water on one side and the sea at the other.

I'm really struggling to have a salinity input which oscillates with a tidal time series.

Any advice?

I am not sure whether or not I understood you correctly. Are you struggling to assign salinity input or does the numerical model oscillates which results into questionable computational findings?
