I have a near surface groundwater model in FEFLOW (maximum depth 500 meter), where I am modelling the fresh/sea water interface under different abstraction situations etc.
In the same area, there will in the near future be an injection in depth of 2.5 Km, which could result in a geomechanical lift of the bottom of my aquifer/model in FEFLOW.

Have anyone made a plug-in/program that can move the bottom boundary upward during a FEFLOW simulation - ex. for modelling of open Pit for underground constructions.

If not – is it possible to make such a plug-in and how would it affects the numerical stability in FEFLOW (time-stepping etc.)
