Hello everyone,

I have a 3D model with inactive elements representing an excavation. I was wondering if it was possible to make these elements invisible rather than change their color (for localisation purposes only) so I can see the different layers that were excavated.

Thank you

If the color of the inactive elements and the color of the background are the same, inactive elements get invisible. In the View Components panel, double-click on In-/active Elements to open the corresponding properties. Switch the color from red to the color you use also use for the background.

another possibility is to use an element selection that excludes the elements that you want to be invisible. When you activate such a selection, and then add to any view the element data you want to see, only the elements of the selection will be shown.
