Hi,

I am new to using FEFlow 7.0 and am having some difficulties achieving what I want to achieve.... I have quite a bit of experience with MODFlow so I know what I want to do but just don't know how to do it...

I am attempting to create a 2D model with actual surface elevations over the area but can't seem to get my actual elevations to show up on the model. What is the best way to do this? I have access to arcmap and lidar data for the area, as well as gps survey of 4 monitoring wells along a transect. I have created points every 1 m with xyz coordinates along the transect. I know my y coordinate would not be necessary in a 2D model so after I remove the Y coord. I cannot seem to import my csv or xls file.

Can anyone offer me some advice on how to proceed?

Thanks!

In my point of view, the best starting point is to go through our Introductory Tutorial. This tutorial nicely guides you step-by-step through the FEFLOW GUI and shows you the conceptual framework. After you went through the exercise, you could start with the cross-section model you are interested in. I am sure the short time you invest in doing the tutorial make many steps your following project easier. Please find the Introductory Tutorial here:

Bjorn,

I was able to resolve the issue, however, prior to this I actually did the tutorial and in my case didn't find it all that helpful as it seems my project is substantially different (how to input various things isn't the same 2D vs 3D, etc...).

I appreciate the response though!
