Hi,
I'm modelling thermal energy transport for a heat pump system in a confined aquifer & i'm trying to work out whether Feflow will use porosity to caclulate the thermal properties of the saturated aquifer based on the entered thermal property values being dry values. If so, i need to enter total porosity vaues in my model and thermal properties for dry materials. But i'm under the impression that porosity isn't used under confined conditions. If this is the case i need to use saturated thermal properties for the confined part of my model. Does anyone know the answer to this?
