Hi,

There was a list of all the FEFLOW file types and how their content should be formatted that I used to have. In the past I was able to find this with a simple google search but I can't locate it anymore. Where abouts can I find it? I just want a quick reference list for the format for the file content for all the different file types that FEFLOW uses (e.g. what to enter and how to arrange it so that a .pow file will function correctly).

Thanks,

SB

The FEFLOW Classic help files on the web have been replaced by the new FEFLOW 6.0 Standard help files - that's why with the old keywords you may not find what you used to search. Try http://www.feflow.info/html/help/HTMLDocuments/reference/fileformats/fileformats.htm .

Yup, I'm looking for these too. All that I have found is documentation for 5.4: http://www.feflow.info/uploads/media/file_formats_04.pdf.

The help for FEFLOW 6 says:
A complete *.fem file format description can be downloaded from the FEFLOW web site
(http://www.feflow.info/html/help/default.htm?turl=HTMLDocuments/reference/fileformats/fileformats.htm), however I'm lost as to where. Is it in progress?

A binary FEM format description would be a nice bonus.

Indeed the file format description for .fem has not been updated to FEFLOW 6. All the sections containing model data, however, are identical to the 5.4 format. In version 6 files, you will find additional information concerning the user interface (unit settings, view settings, ...). Their format is not yet documented.
