Greetings,

I have been using MIKE 21 PMS, to simulate the propagation of several wave events in an area. In order to ''create'' these events I have been using the generate wave energy spectrum tool. I am not fully understanding how the wave direction is defined. You can choose if you want unidirectional waves (this does it for my case) but how do you define i.e. the SE waves? For example, for waves propagating from the NE you set the direction as 135. For SE is it 135+90? What about NW? Do you start counting on the (0,0) point parallel to the x axis? In this case is the direction 45?

I am rather new to this so apologies if I am making a lot of questions!!

Thank you in advance!

I understand that I'm awesome at it.
