MIKE 11: Building network and chainage

I generated network of branches and points in MIKE 11. Tabular view shows the points and branches table, but the table shows no chainge. It appears that points have not been connected to generate the upstream/downstream chainage and connection.
How can I connect the points to build the chainage? considering I have 4000 points and branches.....manual work is a bit cumbersome!

Have you tried to delete the branch and re-digitizing it using the "truck" tool. The tool is able to trace the points, so not much manual labour involved.
