Hi,

I'd like to run a model to asses the blockage of a culvert.

I am thinking to add a short culvert (length#0.2m) immediately upstream my culvert  (#0.5m) which would have only half or a third of my culvert dimension.

Does any of you have already implemented a blockage in a culvert in another way?

Thanks for any thoughts,

Nilor,

Another approach, which for many reasons could be easier to maintain if you need to consider a variety of blockage scenarios,  would be to simply change the geometry of the existing culvert and thereby reducing the flow capacity.
Geometry parameters can be adjusted say by reducing the width by a certain percentage value depending on the blockage you wish to simulate.
